BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Field Solutions Manager, supervises the VMIS team to ensure customer satisfaction, associate development, and the achievement of goals.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute s on MSC solutions strategy and go to market plan with field solutions team.

  • Represents MSC at customer meetings by communicating MSC's Value Proposition, direction and strategy for alignment to customer goals and expectations.

  • Develops team’s proficiency in:

  • Implementations

  • Break Fix (onsite service)

  • Post Install Support

  • Supply Chain Optimization

  • Cancellation support

  • Evaluates operational performance metrics to ensure the Service team is achieving results; coaches’ teams to maintain results.

  • Drives MSC Culture in their local geography and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission and overall Associate engagement.

  • Responsible for evaluating and adjusting capacity within their geography in order to align with business needs and provide Best in Class customer experience.

  • Works with Routing Administrat ion team to plan and coordinate the appropriate optimum customer service schedule.

  • Drive 100% compliance of safety protocols and expectations .

  • Ensures proper records are documented and maintain by auditing that associate’s time keeping and expense reporting are in adherence to company’s policies.

  • In partnership with Human Resources, holds associates accountable to meet or surpass performance expectations.

  • Provides training reinforcement and support as needed to position associates for success.

  • Documents consistent under performance below job expectations on a regular basis and changes in behavior needed to drive associate success.

  • Take s corrective action up and including termination for associates consistently performing below expectations.

  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of all MSC solutions which include but may not be limited to bar coded solutions such as CMI and VMI, Vending, Crib Software, etc.

  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined by the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review, and development of associates.

  • Responsible in managing expenses to ensure adherence to monthly budget parameters and takes corrective action to ensure budget targets are achieved or not exceeded.

  • Conducts quarterly field-based evaluations of all customer solutions and associates in direct reporting line.

  • Responsible to ensure all customer solutions are maintained and operational to MSC CARE standards.

  • In support of MSC’s Lean initiatives, evaluate, document and recommend changes in methods and procedures to maximize efficiency and promote overall team success.

  • Onboard s new associates including Interviewing, training, and developing weekly schedule using established program and processes.

  • Monitors workflow across all available VMIS and trains all associates cross functionally to ensure the needs of the internal and external customer are met in a timely manner.

  • Supports the retention and growth of all solutions in new and established customers.

  • Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.

  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience required.

  • A minimum of 1 year of Supervisor experience strongly preferred or three (3) or more years of experience with implementation or logistics planning and execution required

  • Minimum two years of customer service, selling and/or managing inventory management solutions is strongly required.

  • Minimum two years of experience with implementation or logistics planning and execution required

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software preferred

  • Driver of execution, ability to work through complex situations required.

    SKILLS:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals and metrics required

  • Driver of execution, ability to work through complex situations.

  • K nowledge of inventory solutions and customer segments.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are required .

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.

  • CRM and logistics routing proficiency preferred.

  • Analytical, finance, business, organizational skills and problem-solving skills preferred .

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver’s license is required.

  • Up to 70% travel is required.

  • Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs

  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).

    Compensation starting at $72100 - $103000 depending on experience. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
